Having been interested in farming, Bagersh in the 40’s decided to try his hand in coffee. His love for the crop led him to introduce his sons and later grand children to the art of getting the finest coffee produce.

ieTarara Coffee has obtained the highest food safety standard in the world for Food Safety Systems Certification FSSC 22000 (version 5.1). FSSC 22000 Standard is a Food Safety System Certification Standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)
This FSSC 22000 certification scheme consisting HAACP and ISO 22000:2018, and ISO/TS 22002-1:2009.
Tarara Coffee becomes the first Ethiopian roasted coffee company with this certificate.
